This book is indeed a store-house of information, besides providing interesting and enriching reading. The style of the author is unpretentious and lucid. Though the book may not run into several pages, it is evident that the author has painstakingly consulted several books and sources to cull out relevant facts. He has accomplished this task admirably and produced a book that will be appealing to historians as well as non historians; to student of politics and history as well as to the lay reader. Shri Jacob K. Eranacal has every reason to feel proud about this impressive accomplishment. His book has encapsulated 250 years of American history through the lens of the life and accomplishments of the Presidents. While I congratulate him I also invite the readers with great joy and confidence to this book that promises to augment our understanding of the United States of America.
