Oh! Darling Moon

The poems in this collection  are like the intensely private conversations of a discerning and skeptical individual. They evoke the ineffable experiences of day and night, sun and moon, stars and meteors, sea and waves, and the silences in between. With a restrained and introspective tone, they illuminate these experiences.

The recurring motif of the moon in the poems embodies numerous ideas. It symbolises the isolation and loneliness, cyclical nature of birth, death and rebirth, the transformation through different stages of life and the organic impulses of femininity. All these themes are woven together through the image of moon, consciously or unconsciously throughout the poems.
